Brief Reviews: I hired Reiss and Johnson to represent me on a felony Charge. At the time I was living in Upland, Ca. I had a website about the City of Upland: boycott-upland-ca dot com. This website documented corruption in San Bernardino County and and the Upland Police Department. James V. Reiss mislead me about his representation. James Reiss withheld all evidence from the jury. For instance, the alleged victim, Richard Horn, suffered from vertigo. Horn fell and that is how he was injured. Horn testified differently during the preliminary hearing as opposed to my trial... I told Reiss this and he ignored me. Reiss made no effort to impeach ANY of the witnesses. I did not know that I could have fired James Reiss during my trial. While Reiss and I were waiting in a room at the back of the Rancho Cucamonga Courtroom; James Reiss balled his fists and held them out in front of him; Reiss held his wrist together and said to me: "you'r going to prison... (REISS laughed)... you'r gonna be some big buff nigg ers bit ch...(Reiss laughed), you paid me $10,000 I could of got $50,000 out of you...(Reiss laughed)... I still own a home in Upland, we stay there sometimes... (Reiss Laughed). During my sentencing before I fired Reiss: I told him: "You have no conscious, you have no soul." Thanks to James Reiss, I have met murders and drug dealers. I can say with a clear conscious that James Vincent Reiss is the lowest form of life that I have ever encountered. Thanks to James Reiss I am an innocent man with a felony conviction. James Reiss stole my money, my freedom, and contributed to the loss of everything I own and love... my mother died the day after my trial started and the county destroyed my two pet dogs... I CAN STILL to this day PROVE that I am innocent. James Vincent Reiss cannot be trusted for any reason. Like much of San Bernardino County, James Reiss is corrupt.
