Brief Reviews: DO NOT GO HERE. I called here to get my fingerprinting done. They had the WORST customer service ever. If you don't mind being yelled at for no reason at all and being disrespected verbally, then this is your place. But for everyone else out there, I say if you are paying someone to get your fingerprint taken, the least that person can do is not yell at you for absolutely no reason. I strongly suggest that you go somewhere else to get this task done!

Brief Reviews: Two weeks ago, I went to Hi-Tech Fingerprinting Inc to have one done as a part of an application. I showed up at 8 am as the time that the company was supposed to be open just to find out that there was no one there. I left them a message and left. About half and hour later I got a call that there was someone in the office that could do the fingerprint. I went back to the office and found a lady, who appeared busy, sitting at the front counter. She had a headphone on one ear, one cordless phone on the either ear and at the same time she was talking to me. It was confusing to me at time to know if she was speaking to me or other people on the phones. Right off, she started mentioning that the computer had something wrong and it was telling her to plug the machine in an outlet which it was already plugged in. She loaded the program and started scanning my fingerprint through a digital fingerprinting machine. She would try at least 10 times/finger and told me to relax and stop helping her. I was sure I was completely relaxed and was not helping her in anyway but she was still complaining. She told me that I was too stressed and that made her job more difficult. She repeatedly told me "No no no! don't help me, don't help me. You are not making my job easy here". The scan showed up on the computer screen fussy and dirty. To me (who does not have any knowledge of fingerprints), they look very smudgy and not as crisp. The whole process took about 1 hour and then she printed out the fingerprints on a form. The machine does not allow editing of the place of birth (I am not a US citizen) so she had to put down AK as my birthplace just to scratch it off and rewrote it again on the form. Later on, she had to call someone to charge my credit card and I had to wait for the fax receipt. This time the cordless phone was not working and she had to use the third phone which was her cellphone. I voiced my concern about the substandard-appearing prints and she responded that "You won't know if it will be rejected until 6 months from now. If it is really rejected you can come back and I'll do another one for you". I was confused. Why didn't she try to make better prints so that the chance of it getting rejected is low. Two weeks later, the fingerprints were indeed rejected. The provided reasons were: 1. The fingerprint pattern is not clear, recognizable pattern. 2. Improper inking -- too light, too dark, or unevenly distributed. Improver inking or Live Scan may need adjustment. 2. Impression smudged. These involved all 10 fingers. I did not even bother to go back to let her do it again. It was such a complete waste of time and money there. I found out that the UPS store at the Creekside plaza off of the Parks Hwy does fingerprinting as well. I went there this morning and the service was superb. The quality of the prints is so high and even I can see the difference. The staff, Ms. Angela, was very professional. So if you need fingerprinting service, UPS store is the place to go and I highly recommend it. Thanks. Charlie. June 2, 2008
