Brief Reviews: This guy charges $250 an hour for divorces. Totally not worth it. The normal rate is $175. He holds himself out as a "family law specialist" but what that means is that he took a few extra courses and has been practicing law for over 10 years so now he gets to over charge you. He files meaningless motions to over bill you and overbills on how long it takes to do his work. Trust me, I am a paralegal...I know how the billing is done. My boss refered me to him...what a mistake. I fired him after 3 months. It cost me $4,500 to file 2 motions. What a waste. Plus the man is rude and extrememly arrogant! He now has a new female lawyer who just graduated from law school. She bills out at $125 an hour. He tells you she can save you money but because she is soo slow because she is still learning, the cost comes out to what Treneff would charge you. They even charge you $100 for there secretary to create a case file on you for Treneff. Thats insane. This guy does not have a good rep in the legal community. Wish I would have done more research on him before I hired him.

Brief Reviews: I was adamant about being notified of the time being billed. I did not receive an invoice until after court, and I was charged double the retainer. My ex was 45 minutes late for court. The attorney was okay with this. The judge wanted to smoke a cigarette, the attorney was okay with this. It took four hours, the attorney was okay with this. Why? Because she was charging me $155 an hour to sit there and do nothing. Then I had to negotiate my own deal. I will never use them, nor refer them. Save yourself the money, go with a more aggressive and honest firm. I was over charged for "discussing my case with her coworker" and "discussing my case with someone at the clerk of courts."
