Brief Reviews: Lewis is a good lawyer. We are a mid size government contracting firm and have used this law firm's services for the past eleven years. I have met a few of the lawyers at the firm and have nothing bad to say about the firm. I am simply writing this review because of the other reviewer you gave negative comments about the Lewis Law Firm. First of all how the retainer works (at least in our case) is that they keep the money in their trust account and bill their time against it. After the case is finished the remaining amount in the trust account is returned. We have used their services on a number of occasions over the past years. They have been professional and well respected by the judges in federal and Virginia courts. I have also referred other clients to them and have never received negative feedback. I as a business owner do not like it when someone writes a bad review about another person for the world to see and they never even hired the services of the company. There are always going to be mean spirited but I always want to treat other as I wish to be treated so I felt compelled to write this review. If you ever need legal services, talk directly to Lewis and you will find him to be not only a fierce litigator but also a compassionate person. Their fee is reasonable for the services they provide. I am not saying that they are cheap. But when your life is hanging in the balance then you want the best. Lewis is the best.

Brief Reviews: I took a meeting with Livesay and Myers, PC - for plus $300. The meeting went well until I found that another $1500.00 would be needed if uncontested. If contested - it automatically jumps to $3000. If face to face was needed with both parties - that would be another $1500. They are the best if contested related to - retired Military and or Property to settle. However...keep looking if your divorce is uncontested. You could pay less. 3 stars related to the cost.
